CALIFORNIA HOUSING FINANCE AGENCY in Sacramento is seeking an Analyst I to support the Financing Division with daily operations, data gathering, reporting, and financial analysis for agency financing programs.
Hybrid work is available, with in‑person attendance required weekly at our Sacramento office. New state hires will be placed at the minimum salary of the classification, per requirements.
$3,861.00 - $6,276.00 per Month New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.
Under the supervision of the Supervisor I, this position assists in the day‑to‑day operations of the Financing Division and supports the Financing staff in creation of management reporting, data gathering and compiling information for financial data requests, documentation and record keeping related to Agency's ongoing financing programs, financial and risk analysis related to decision‑making for the Agency's business units, internal or inter‑agency coordination required to manage Agency's funding sources and investments.

Hybrid telework schedules are available. The amount of telework is at CalHFA’s discretion and is based on operational needs. IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE WILL BE REQUIRED WEEKLY. Our office is in 500 Capitol Mall , a high‑rise building conveniently located in downtown Sacramento with access to public transportation (light rail and bus) and freeways (I-5, 99, and Business 80). It is one block from Downtown Commons (DOCO), the Golden 1 Center, and many restaurants. Employees also have free access to the gym located in the building. Candidates who are new to state service will be placed at the minimum of the salary range. Successfully complete the State civil service exam for the Analyst I classification.
Have current employment with the State of California in the same classification or in a classification that is comparable (employees who wish to be considered based on transfer eligibility must meet the minimum qualifications of the classification per DPA Rule 250).
Have obtained previous permanent employment with the State of California in the same classification or in a classification that is comparable.
