Job summary

Hancock Whitney seeks a Financial Center Supervisor in Saint Petersburg, FL, to strengthen operations, manage cash and risk, and deliver superior client service. You will lead tellers, coordinate staffing, and support proactive sales and education of digital channels.

The role requires strong communication, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to resolve client issues while guiding staff through procedures and policy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; a Bachelor's with banking experience acceptable.
• 3 years cash handling and customer service in retail or branch banking, or 1 year with a Bachelor's.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and search tools.
• NMLS registration under the SAFE Act; background check required.
• Knowledge of banking laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform morning operational huddles.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling and duty assignments.
• Guide associates on teller transactions and policy.
• Open/close vault, Night Depository, balance teller window.
• Mitigate operational loss; manage cash limits and overrides.
• Research and resolve client issues.
• Support risk management culture and RM review procedures.
• Operate ATM, cash recycler, currency counters, coin sorters.
• Model sales/service behavior and lobby management.
• Manage existing clients and prospects; build relationships.
• Educate clients on digital channels and self-service options.
• Drive sales conversations and needs assessment.
• Ensure safety and compliance with policies; travel if required.
