Duke University Health System's Patient Revenue Management Office (PRMO) seeks a Financial Care Counselor to join a float role supporting four clinic locations, including three in Durham and one clinic in Chapel Hill. The schedule may vary with early starts and some late days.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in hospital service access, clinical service access, physician office or billing and collections.
• An Associate's degree in a healthcare related field and one year of experience working with the public.
• A Bachelor's degree and one year of experience working with the public.

Responsibilities

• Education requirements vary; some college education preferred.
• This is a float role; responsibilities include patient accounts, pre-admission, admission, pre-registration and registration functions as needed.
• Assist with collecting payments and informing patients of financial liability prior to services.
