Oregon Freeze Dry is seeking a Financial Analyst I to provide financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and decision support for Sales and Operations. You will analyze performance, develop models, and help drive profitable growth.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, reporting, and collaboration across functions, with a focus on continuous improvement and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in retail or food industry with a bachelor’s in business or accounting.
• Ability to build and maintain complex applications and reports from various data sources.
• Knowledge of relational databases, Power Query, and stored procedures.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales performance, profitability, and trends to identify risks and opportunities.
• Compare actual results to budget/forecast and communicate findings to management.
• Conduct profitability analyses across customers, products, and segments to support planning.
• Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and KPIs for data-driven decisions.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses for Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Pricing, and Operations.
• Identify efficiency improvements, cost-saving opportunities, and process enhancements.
• Participate in monthly/quarterly/annual close activities and budgeting processes.
• Develop forecasts and improve forecasting methodologies.
