Job summary

Lehigh University’s Office of Financial Aid is seeking a detail-oriented systems professional to ensure smooth operation of financial aid information systems and data integrity, directly impacting students’ ability to fund their education.

You will manage the aid lifecycle processes, support staff, and collaborate with IT and Admissions to implement system improvements while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of work-related experience.
• Experience administering student information or financial aid systems is preferred.
• Strong data accuracy habits and ability to handle high volumes of detail under deadline.
• Effective communication across technical and administrative audiences.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain financial aid information systems, ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate day-to-day operational financial aid processes across the full aid lifecycle, from packaging through disbursement.
• Serve as the functional subject-matter resource for financial aid systems, supporting staff across Financial Aid and Admissions.
• Troubleshoot system issues, escalating and resolving problems in a timely and documented manner.
• Identify, analyze, and support the implementation of business process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Monitor compliance with institutional, state, and federal financial aid regulations and reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain procedural documentation for systems processes and operational workflows.
• Collaborate with IT, the Registrar, and Enrollment Management on system updates, testing, and integrations.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of federal and state financial aid reports and audits.
• Provide training and ongoing support to Financial Aid staff on systems functionality and updated processes.
