Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Three years of office experience serving customers.
• Associate's degree or 60 college hours preferred.
• At least one year of college/university setting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of higher education financial aid programs helpful.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• Proficiency with computer applications and enterprise systems including MS Office.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to analyze data and provide policy-based recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Create reports, forms, and correspondence.
• File financial aid records and post information to records.
• Compute amounts and manage financial aid reports.
• Input and retrieve financial aid data.
• Process student loan requests and verification for selected students.
• Provide office management support to the director.
• Assist outreach and financial aid presentations.
• Follow procedures for handling high-volume work.
