Responsibilities include FAFSA/ISIR monitoring, verification, and counseling sessions. Strong attention to detail and customer service are essential for helping a diverse student body.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and financial aid experience
• College coursework in accounting, finance, or related field
• Strong computer skills with MS Word, Excel and Outlook; ability to learn new software quickly

Responsibilities

• Process financial aid documentation and ensure accuracy and compliance
• Explain financial aid options clearly to students and guide them through applications
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues affecting student funding
• Monitor FAFSA submissions, ISIRs, and verification for selected files
• Track Master Promissory Notes (MPNs) via COD and counsel students accordingly
• Stay updated on Federal Student Aid Handbook and regulations to ensure compliance
• Disburse funds only when students are eligible while monitoring accounts and packaging
