Job summary
Northeastern Technical College is seeking a dedicated Financial Aid Coordinator to administer federal, state, and institutional aid while guiding students through eligibility, applications, and funding options.
You will ensure accurate processing, disbursement, and reconciliation of aid funds, support audits and reporting, and coordinate Veterans Affairs education benefits with campus departments and external partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and financial aid experience required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with financial aid software and budgeting.
Responsibilities
- Administers federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs; guides students on eligibility, requirements, and funding options.
- Processes, awards, disburses, and reconciles financial aid funds; coordinates Veterans Affairs education benefits.
- Ensures compliance through accurate recordkeeping, reporting, verification, audits, and monitoring of regulatory changes.
- Provides counseling and resources on available funding opportunities and assists with information sessions.
