Job summary

The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine is seeking an Analyst, Financial Aid Data to ensure timely, accurate financial aid services through effective use of the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Financial Aid module. The role partners with Financial Aid, Enrollment Services, and OIT to test, implement, and improve system functionality and student experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related work experience OR Master’s degree and 1 year of related work experience.
• Experience in higher education student services or data analytics.
• Ability to test functional system enhancements, upgrades, patches, and releases.
• Ability to create and run queries and data extracts for operations and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional systems testing for enhancements, upgrades, patches, and system releases.
• Administer and support student self-service financial aid functionality.
• Troubleshoot functional system issues with OIT and campus partners.
• Create and run queries, QA reports, and data extracts to support operations and data integrity.
• Analyze financial aid data and support reporting, dashboards and analytics.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes, system functionality and compliance.
• Serve as a functional liaison between Financial Aid and OIT and communicate requirements clearly.
• Maintain documentation and procedures related to financial aid systems and processes.
