Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. seeks a Financial Representative Trainee for its Accelerator Program in the United States. You'll engage in a comprehensive trainee experience designed to build a sustainable financial practice and run your own business after training.

You'll learn to sell Individual Insurance products, complete licensing, and progress toward becoming an independent Financial Advisor within 24 months or less, with mentorship and hands-on projects along the way.

Qualifications

• Be highly self-motivated and results-oriented, working both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of the Insurance/Financial Services industry is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop skills to provide holistic financial advice to clients within the Accelerator Program.
• Gain direct sales experience marketing Individual Insurance products.
• Cultivate prospecting skills via research, networking and social media.
• Acquire in-depth understanding of product offerings and their features and benefits.
• Oversee content, proposals and paperwork flow through field and Home Office to ensure a smooth application and underwriting process.
