Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking a Financial Advisor in the United States. You will build client relationships, develop personalized financial solutions, and work with a branch team to grow the practice across the local community.

You will be supported by extensive training, a branch office, and a scalable compensation model that includes a supplemental starting salary for up to five years, commissions, and new assets-based pay.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred or equivalent work‑related experience within the securities/financial services industry.
• Financial services registration, licensing, or certification may be required (SIE, Series 7/66, state licenses).
• Experience in financial services sales or advisory roles is valued.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships to create new clients via face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies (residential, business, networking, referrals, social media, speaking engagements).
• Deeply understand clients’ needs and concerns to accelerate trust and create personalized strategies to help them achieve goals.
• Oversee branch processes and team roles to ensure a high‑quality client experience aligned with policies and regulations.
• Engage the branch team to create and monitor the branch business plan for better results.
• Create an engaging, cooperative branch environment with mutual trust, respect, feedback and accountability.
