Edward Jones in Oakland is seeking ambitious financial advisors to build and grow their own client practice with the support of a nationwide team and a long history of success.

You’ll complete licensed training, earn a supplemental salary for up to five years, and access a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan and travel awards. Compensation combines salary, commissions, and new assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent work-related experience within securities/financial services.
• Financial services and/or sales experience required.
• Licensing (SIE, Series 7, Series 66) required within three months; state licenses will be required.
• As an associate, you are required to complete ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships to create new clients via face-to-face and virtual sourcing strategies.
• Deeply understand clients' needs to create personalized, comprehensive strategies.
• Oversee branch processes to ensure a high-quality client experience and regulatory compliance.
• Engage the branch team to monitor and adjust the branch business plan for results.
• Create a engaging environment in the branch of mutual trust and accountability.
