Position Summary
The Financial Administrator
will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial activities, maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with local regulatory standards. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple financial functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow projections.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Assist in creating budgets, monitoring expenses, and performing variance analysis.
Accounting Operations:
Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger reconciliations.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with Indian financial and tax regulations; assist in filing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
Audit & Control:
Collaborate with auditors, support internal controls, and conduct regular audits to maintain financial integrity.
Cash Flow Management:
Monitor cash flow, maintain banking relationships, and oversee the transfer of funds.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial processes, enhancing operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA or CPA certification is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 4-8 years in financial administration, preferably within the tech industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar); advanced Excel skills.
Knowledge of Financial Regulations:
Familiarity with GST, TDS, income tax, and other local regulations.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently.
