Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Financed Contracts Billing and Collections Specialist in New York to manage billing, payment tracking, and cash-application for financed receivables. You will own the workflow from approved financing documentation to invoice submission and funding, collaborating with Finance, Financial Solutions Group, FSLs, and leasing partners to keep records complete and timely.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in accounts receivable, billing, or collections, with ERP or billing platform

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections.
• Experience managing invoices, payment schedules, aging balances, and reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential financial information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for professional business-to-business payments.

Responsibilities

• Review financing documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare and submit accurate invoices and billing documentation to leasing partners.
• Monitor aging balances, payment commitments, and follow up on past-due items.
• Coordinate with Finance and Accounting to resolve billing questions.
• Prepare financial reporting and support month-end close and audits.
