Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Financed Contracts Billing and Collections Specialist to manage the billing, payment tracking, and reconciliation for customer-financed receivables. You will own the workflow from financing documentation through invoice submission and cash application, partnering with Finance, Financial Solutions, and leasing partners.

The role emphasizes organized, detail-oriented work with contract data, payments, and remittance information, ensuring accurate billing and timely collections

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, finance operations, or related environment.
• Experience managing invoices, payment schedules, aging balances, collection follow-up, and reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail with contract, invoice, payment, and remittance information.
• Strong written and verbal communication for B2B payments.
• Working proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheets.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple items with discretion.
• Sound judgment on what to resolve and what to escalate.

Responsibilities

• Review financing documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain organized records for financed contracts and invoicing requirements.
• Prepare and submit invoices to leasing partners per contract terms.
• Track payment status, due dates, and funding milestones.
• Forecast leasing-partner payments and customer cash flows.
• Coordinate with Finance for billing questions and resolution timelines.
• Research unapplied cash or discrepancies and ensure traceability.
