Job summary

Florida State University seeks a University Business Administrators professional in the College of Music to manage travel authorizations, reimbursements, and related financial controls for student travel. You will develop travel training guides, coordinate with International Travel, Safety and Risk, and support budget reporting and procurement processes, ensuring policy compliance and accurate accounting.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day origination of travel authorizations, cash advances, and expense reports for student travel.
• Creates and maintains CoM-specific travel training guides, travel resources, and post-travel forms.
• Routes student travel waivers prior to departure for all college-sanctioned student group travel.
• Tracks and monitors purchasing activities at the CoM to ensure internal controls and compliance.
• Prepares and utilizes college-wide reports for tracking requisitions and purchase orders to ensure adherence to area budget allocations.
• Serves as primary PCard holder for CoM Fiscal Office requests and backup for related roles.
• Enters and reconciles all foundation scholarship awards in FS4U and coordinates with multiple offices.
• Regularly reviews PCard and T-Card transactions and aging travel requests for policy compliance.
• Acts as a key point of contact for student inquiries pertaining to student financials and liaises with several university offices.
