Florida State University in Tallahassee is seeking a Travel Assistant for the Herbert Wertheim College of Business. This regular, full-time role handles travel requests, cash advances, travel and expense reimbursements for students using Concur.

You will reconcile monthly travel statements, monitor travel budgets with the Senior Travel Administrator, and ensure correct processing of expense reports in line with university policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and six years of relevant experience.
• Combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.

Responsabilités

• Originates travel requests, cash advances, travel, and expense reimbursements to Wertheim College of Business students through Concur.
• Reconciles monthly financial statements for Wertheim College travel and student professional funds; monitors area travel budgets with the Senior Travel Administrator.
• Interprets University policies and procedures with directors, chairs, faculty, staff, and students; supports compliance with Finance and Administration.
• Partners with the Business Analyst to support reporting for students with eligible professional development funds and promote development opportunities.
• Assists the Senior Travel Administrator in processing other travel transactions during peak periods; other duties as assigned.
