Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager, Finance Transformation to lead and deliver finance transformation programs for Power & Utilities clients. You will design operating models, drive digital finance initiatives, and co-create value through sustainable finance, working with senior leaders to meet regulatory and reporting standards.

Expect 60-80% travel to support client engagements and global service delivery. You will guide finance strategy, implement ERP-enabled processes, and lead cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree (4-year degree)
• Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years relevant experience in consulting and power and utilities industry
• Experience with P&U functions and applications such as SAP, Oracle, and Power Plan
• Business case development
• Digital strategy
• Finance compliance and regulation awareness
• Finance quality, maturity, efficiency & operational risk assessment
• Finance strategy, operating model and transformation roadmap
• Finance sustainability

• PowerPlan implementation and integration with ERP and EAM systems
• Finance operating model design
• Finance processes improvement
• Shared services and global business services design and implementation
• Outsourcing advisory
• FP&A
• Finance systems and intelligent automation
• Financial close, consolidation and reporting
• Cost management and profitability analysis
• Procure-to-pay and record-to-report processes
• Asset and project accounting
• Interconnected billing to cash processes via CIS and GLs
• Understanding of power transmission and distribution financial planning drivers
• FERC reporting requirements and GAAP intersections
• Defining and executing deliverables
• Managing project timelines
• Engaging with clients regularly and leading sessions
• Travel 60-80% as needed
