Job summary

A Global Bank in New York City seeks an experienced Vice President to join the Strategy and Execution team, driving finance transformation across a multinational organization.

You will translate strategic priorities into a multi-year roadmap, lead initiatives across controllership, FP&A, and accounting functions, and partner with Finance and Technology leaders to deliver scalable, AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in FP&A, financial accounting, Finance transformation or strategy advisory in financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CFA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounts payable, FP&A and Finance operations.
• Experience leading large-scale finance transformations from strategy through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the future-state operating model for a complex global Finance organization.
• Translate priorities into a multi-year Finance transformation roadmap.
• Lead large-scale initiatives across controllership, accounts payable, FP&A, and other Finance functions.
• Partner with Finance and Technology leadership to set priorities and develop solutions.
• Define target-state processes, principles, and measurable outcomes for initiatives.
• Facilitate cross-functional design, decision-making, and user adoption sessions.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specs for key Finance systems.
• Drive integration and simplification across GL, subledger, consolidation, planning, and reconciliation.
• Identify AI, automation opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Communicate strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
