Job summary

The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America is seeking a Finance Transformation Lead to drive strategic finance transformations, optimize processes, advance AI-enabled capabilities, and strengthen data-driven decision-making across FP&A, forecasting, reporting, and close.

You will lead AI strategy, partner with Technology, Data, Risk, and business leaders, design future-state operating models, and ensure governance and value realization in a hybrid NYC/Stamford setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 8+ years in finance, consulting, transformation or strategy roles.
• 5+ years leading large-scale finance transformations or enterprise change programs.
• Experience with AI, automation, or advanced analytics in finance.
• Ability to develop roadmaps, business cases and executive presentations.
• Proven cross-functional leadership and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Finance transformation strategies aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Lead large-scale initiatives across processes, systems, data, and governance.
• Drive AI strategy, adopt generative AI, automation, and analytics in finance.
• Design future-state operating models and governance structures.
