Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Finance AI & Data Transformation practitioner in New York to lead AI strategy engagements across FP&A, Controllership, and related finance functions.

You will translate complex finance challenges into AI-enabled transformation roadmaps, collaborate with technology and data teams, and build trusted client relationships with CFOs and finance leaders. Travel up to 80% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience in Finance functional roles or Finance transformation consulting.
• 7+ years of AI & Data experience, including solutioning, designing, or delivering AI & Data projects in Finance.
• 7+ years of high-value consulting experience leading large-scale delivery.
• 2+ years in AI & Data delivery specifically within finance space.
• Experience leading conversations with CFOs and Finance leadership.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance-specific AI strategy engagements and define a vision for AI-driven improvements in FP&A, Controllership, Financial Close, Treasury and Tax.
• Apply an engineering problem-solving mindset to identify AI, automation, and data solutions that reduce friction and drive insights in Finance processes.
• Conduct Finance AI and Data Assessments to evaluate data assets, tech stack, and AI readiness.
• Design future-state Finance processes embedding intelligence at their core.
• Develop Finance AI Functional Designs with collaboration from tech and data teams.
• Build business cases and roadmaps with ROI expectations for Finance AI transformations.
• Shape AI Operating Model design for sustainable Finance AI operations.
• Infuse Responsible AI with auditability, explainability and regulatory compliance.
• Build trusted client relationships with CFOs and Finance leadership.
• Originate and shape new opportunities and drive go-to-market activities for Finance AI engagements.
