Job summary

Nexamp, a leader in clean energy, is seeking a Senior Business Transformation Manager, Finance Transformation to drive a multi-year portfolio across Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, Tax, and more. Hybrid work from Boston, Chicago, or DC.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in management consulting, Finance transformation, or closely related field with cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven ownership of complex, Finance-related work from discovery through implementation and sustainment.
• Strong experience redesigning Finance processes and operating models across Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, Tax, or Capital Markets.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite and translating business needs into system requirements.
• Proven project, program, and change-management capabilities including adoption measurement and transition planning.
• Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills for senior audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field; commitment to continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated commitment to Nexamp’s mission and finance transformation excellence.

Responsibilities

• Own the Finance transformation portfolio by building and maintaining an integrated roadmap across Accounting and critical Finance interfaces.
• Lead complex Finance transformation workstreams end to end from discovery through future-state design, implementation, adoption, and transition.
• Translate and validate findings through interviews, data analysis, and process observations; distinguish root causes from symptoms.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and organizational design methods to redesign Finance workflows and controls.
• Connect financial architecture, data, and technology across entities and tax-structures.
• Partner with Product & Technology and Finance system owners to optimize NetSuite and related systems.
• Apply guardrails to AI-enabled accounting use cases with proper approvals and audit logs.
• Build change and adoption strategies with sponsor alignment and training inputs.
• Define baseline and target measures; collaborate with analytics for value realization.
• Mentor Transformation team members on discovery, operating-model design, and implementation.
• Build relationships with Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and other functions.
