Job summary

State Street seeks a Managing Director to lead Finance Transformation Governance, shaping governance, risk, and control strategy for the transformation program. The role ensures processes, automation, data initiatives, and operating model changes stay within a robust governance framework.

You will partner with Finance, Technology, and Enterprise Risk to embed controls, drive preventive measures, and align with enterprise policies during periods of change.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Finance, Controllership, Finance Transformation or related areas.
• Leadership experience in a large financial services or regulated environment.
• Demonstrated governance, risk, and control management for large transformations.
• Deep understanding of Finance processes, controls, SOX, and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Finance Transformation Governance Framework.
• Assess transformation impacts on processes and controls across the organization.
• Drive control design for automated and digital processes.
• Partner with Finance BRM and other functions to manage transformation-related risks.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise governance and policy requirements.
• Provide executive guidance to CAO, CFO organization, and Finance leadership.
