Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Director, Finance Transformation to lead enterprise-wide transformation programs across finance. You will partner with executive leadership to set vision and roadmap, manage multiple workstreams, and ensure measurable business impact.

You will oversee governance, change enablement, and collaboration with global teams and external partners, driving timely delivery and risk mitigation while maintaining rigorous reporting to the executive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive leadership experience.
• Strong financial acumen and familiarity with financial systems and processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and influence with senior leaders.
• Experience interacting with senior leadership on strategic, tactical, confidential issues.
• Proven project management of multiple simultaneous projects.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Advanced analytical and process diagnostic skills with big-picture perspective.
• Comfortable with data, metrics, and dashboards to drive decisions.
• Conflict resolution capabilities in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to deliver feedback and recognize performance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver finance transformation programs across global teams.
• Lead cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve milestones.
• Identify and mitigate program risks and dependencies, including regulatory risks.
• Maintain governance framework with steering committees and approvals.
• Develop metrics and reporting for executive sponsorship.
• Drive change enablement and adoption of new processes and tools.
• Mentor talent and foster continuous improvement.
