Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a senior Finance Transformation leader in the North Chicago, IL area to drive the Finance Future Fit program. You will lead transformative initiatives across processes, tools, partnerships, and people experience, working with Commercial Finance and Corporate to align on roadmaps.

The role requires 8+ years in finance, strong project management, leadership, and communication skills, and a proven ability to manage change in a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA and/or MBA is preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive finance related experience.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and ownership mindset.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Self-starter with initiative and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to generate ideas and drive innovation to reality.

Responsibilities

• Lead Commercial Finance Transformation initiatives across Process, Tools, Partnerships and People Experience.
• Identify business needs, collaborate on action plans and drive change management at all levels.
• Ensure timely execution of project plans for finance capability initiatives.
• Execute system strategy with data governance and data visualization tools.
• Coordinate communications and change management for Finance Transformation programs.
• Support culture clubs to promote continuous improvement.
• Lead meetings and governance activities including quarterly Town Hall and annual events.
• Oversee governance of US and international finance data and SharePoint.
