Job summary

Stanford Health Care seeks a Director of Finance Program & Change Management to lead finance transformation initiatives within the Finance Controller’s Office. You will translate strategic priorities into executable program plans, governance structures, and measurable outcomes across the organization.

You will partner with finance leaders, analysts, and executive stakeholders to ensure strong internal controls, compliant processes, and timely adoption of new programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in program management, project management, change management, or business transformation leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance program and change management activities for transformation initiatives, partnering with Finance leadership to plan, prioritize, implement, and monitor strategic initiatives.
• Establish and oversee program structures, including charters, scope, organizational design, schedules, and budgets, ensuring governance and compliance across projects.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for program managers, change managers, and other team members.
• Build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align priorities and support program success.
• Monitor and report on program performance, budgets, risks, and benefits, and escalate significant risks for timely mitigation.
