Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Financial Segment Manager to lead FP&A, planning and data mining across business segments. You will support finance segments, coordinate with Operations, Accounting, IT and Sales to deliver timely analyses and forecasts.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and highly technical with strong communication skills. Experience in close, variance analysis and driving actionable insights is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
• 6+ years in Accounting/Finance.
• Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Workday and Adaptive Insights intermediate.
• Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage financials of assigned accounts/product lines, including monthly close.
• Consolidate, prepare and analyze financial data; present to senior leadership.
• Lead various projects across locations.
• Coach and delegate work to staff.
• Conduct periodic audits of operations.
