Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Finance Segment Manager to lead financial analysis, planning, and data mining for assigned business segments. You will support FP&A, coordinate with Operations, Accounting, IT, and Sales to deliver timely, insightful forecasts and close results.

This role requires detail orientation, collaboration, and strong communication to present findings to senior leadership. You will manage monthly close, P&L reviews, and drive improvements across locations while coaching junior

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
• Master's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance preferred
• 6+ years in Accounting/Finance or related field
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Workday and Adaptive Insights Intermediate
• Programming/relational database design/query Intermediate
• Power BI preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close activities and review P&Ls
• Analyze cost and revenue accruals and prepare journal entries
• Consolidate, analyze financial data, and communicate findings to senior leadership
• Lead projects across locations
• Coach and delegate work to team members
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure controls are in place
