Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Finance Segment Manager to lead financial analysis, planning and data mining for their assigned business segments.

This role supports FP&A Finance/Segments and coordinates with Operations, Accounting, IT and Sales to deliver timely results and actionable insights. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative and highly organized, capable of managing close processes, P&L reviews, revenue accruals and forecasting while coaching junior staff and driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is required.
• Master's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance preferred.
• 6+ years in Accounting/Finance or related field required.
• Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint proficiency.
• Workday and Adaptive Insights intermediate preferred.
• Programming and/or relational database design/query intermediate preferred.
• Microsoft PowerBI preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage financials of assigned accounts/product lines, including monthly close, P&L review, accrual analysis, revenue reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Consolidate, analyze data and communicate findings to Operations, Finance, Accounting, IT, and Sales; present close results and forecasts to senior leadership.
• Lead various cross-location projects.
• Coach and delegate work to junior staff.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure controls are in place and effective.
