Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Finance Segment Manager to lead financial analysis, planning and data mining across its business segments.

You will support FP&A Finance/Segments and coordinate with Operations, Finance, Accounting, IT and Sales to deliver timely, insightful results. This role requires a detail-oriented, collaborative, highly organized professional who can manage a wide range of financial reporting, analysis and modeling duties in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Master's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
• Minimum 6 years in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Advanced Excel/Word/PowerPoint proficiency required.
• Workday and Adaptive Insights experience preferred.
• SQL/database design/query skills preferred.
• PowerBI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages financials of assigned accounts/product lines including monthly close activities and P&L reviews.
• Consolidate, prepare, and analyze financial data; communicate findings to upper management and present forecasts.
• Lead various miscellaneous projects spanning locations.
• Provide coaching and delegation of work to lower level professionals.
• Conduct periodic operating audits to ensure controls are in place.
