Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Finance Segment Manager to lead financial analysis, planning, and data mining for assigned business segments.

You will support FP&A, coordinate with Operations, IT, Accounting, and Sales to deliver timely results, and guide strategic initiatives. The role requires detailed, collaborative, and highly technical professionals who can manage monthly closes, perform revenue/cost analyses, prepare journal entries, and present forecasts to senior leadership while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is required.
• Master's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is preferred.
• 6+ years in Accounting/Finance or related field required.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
• Workday and Adaptive Insights experience preferred.
• Programming and/or relational database design/query intermediate.
• Microsoft PowerBI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close activities and P&L reviews for assigned accounts/product lines.
• Consolidate and analyze financial data; communicate findings to senior leadership.
• Lead cross-functional projects across locations.
• Coach and delegate work to junior staff.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure internal controls.
