Job summary

Johnson Controls in Milwaukee invites ambitious graduates to join a 2.5-year finance and accounting rotational program across multiple business units, with mentors and senior leaders guiding development.

You will perform analyses, help budgets and forecasts, support tax filings and treasury tasks, and rotate at least once outside Milwaukee. A bachelor’s degree by January 2027 and strong MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance completed by January 2027.
• Knowledge of basic Finance and Accounting concepts.
• Ability to adapt to new rotational roles every 6 months.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Extract data from financial systems and perform analyses to explain variances.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning with timely inputs.
• Work on projects to improve efficiency and lower costs.
• Assist in preparation of supporting documentation and tax filings.
• Participate in treasury activities including daily cash management.
• Engage in networking events and professional development; rotate to a JCI plant outside Milwaukee.
