An AmLaw 100 international law firm seeks a mid-level Finance & Restructuring Litigation Associate to handle high-stakes disputes, including corporate debt restructurings, in a sophisticated, collaborative team. The role offers exposure to complex financial issues and cross-office coordination in a fast-paced environment.

Hybrid work arrangement with three days in the Dallas office, and opportunities for mentorship from leading practitioners at the forefront of financial law.

Qualifikationen

• JD from ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in Texas, in good standing
• 3–5 years of substantive litigation experience at AmLaw 100 or similarly sophisticated firm
• Experience with financial services or restructuring-related litigation
• Demonstrated ability to manage all phases of complex litigation, including drafting legal documents, discovery, depositions, trial prep, and motions
• Strong organizational skills with deadlines, filings, client communications, and priorities
• Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication and advocacy abilities, both written and oral
• Proven capacity to work collaboratively across offices and disciplines in a fast-paced environment

Aufgaben

• Represent clients in financial, commercial, and restructuring-related litigation in federal and state courts and arbitration forums
• Manage complex litigation matters from pre-suit through trial and post-trial
• Develop and execute case strategies, including discovery planning
• Draft, argue, and respond to motions, briefs, memoranda, and other court filings
• Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions
• Conduct sophisticated legal research and draft motions and memoranda
• Attend court appearances, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, client meetings, and trial proceedings
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop and execute case strategy
• Provide timely, practical, strategic litigation risk management advice
• Contribute to a collaborative, excellent, innovative team culture
