Job summary

Management Performance Associates in Dallas is seeking a Finance & Restructuring Litigation Associate in a hybrid role, three days in the office. The mid-level attorney will handle high-stakes financial disputes within an AmLaw 100 international firm, collaborating across offices and disciplines.

The role offers exposure to complex commercial transactions, corporate debt restructurings, and related litigation, with mentorship from distinguished practitioners and a clear path for career growth

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Texas, in good standing.
• 3–5 years of substantive litigation experience at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience with financial services or restructuring-related litigation.
• Ability to manage all phases of complex litigation, including drafting, discovery, and trial.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy; collaborative across offices.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in financial, commercial, and restructuring-related litigation in federal and state courts and arbitration forums.
• Manage complex litigation matters from pre-suit investigation through trial and post-trial proceedings.
• Develop and execute case strategies, including discovery planning.
• Draft, argue, and respond to motions, briefs, memoranda, and other filings.
• Take and defend depositions; conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and memoranda.
• Attend court appearances, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and client meetings.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to execute case strategy.
• Provide timely, practical litigation risk management advice.
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
