Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. is recruiting a mid-level Finance & Restructuring Litigation Associate for a leading AmLaw 100 international law firm in Dallas.

The role focuses on high-stakes financial disputes, commercial transactions, debt restructurings, and related litigation, offering exposure to sophisticated matters across offices. Hybrid work arrangement – three days in office – with strong mentorship, cross-office collaboration, and significant client contact.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of substantive litigation experience at a top firm or AmLaw 100 firm preferred.
• Experience with financial services or restructuring-related litigation.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Texas, in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in financial, commercial, and restructuring-related litigation in federal and state courts and arbitration forums.
• Manage complex litigation matters from pre-suit investigation through trial and post-trial proceedings.
• Develop and execute case strategies, including discovery planning and implementation.
• Draft, argue, and respond to motions, briefs, memoranda, and other substantive court filings.
• Take and defend fact and expert witness depositions.
• Attend court appearances, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, client meetings, and trial proceedings.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop and execute case strategy.
• Provide clients with timely, practical, and strategic advice on litigation and risk management.
