Job summary

Certara is seeking a Manager of Financial Reporting to drive SEC filings and internal management reporting. You will collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, SEC reporting, and business unit finance leaders to ensure accurate, timely disclosures and compelling leadership narratives.

You will own quarterly close processes, KPI dashboards, and board-ready materials while staying current with GAAP, SEC rules, and new accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• 5–8 years progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting
• US GAAP knowledge with SEC reporting experience
• Experience building internal management reporting and KPI dashboards
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with ERP/consolidation tools (NetSuite/Workiva/OneStream/Hyperion)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, proxy materials) including footnotes and MD&A
• Coordinate quarterly and annual close and reporting timelines with Accounting/FP&A and auditors
• Monitor SEC/FASB guidance and implement new disclosure requirements
• Assist external audit process and respond to auditor requests
• Develop monthly/quarterly management reporting packages and KPI reporting
• Translate financial results into clear narratives for leadership
