Job summary

Conexus in San Juan Capistrano seeks a Manager of Financial Reporting to own significant portions of the external SEC reporting process and support internal controls during a period of rapid growth. Responsible for complex disclosures and coordinating cross-functional timelines, you will work with auditors and leadership on reporting matters.

The ideal candidate has public accounting/SEC reporting experience, CPA license, and strong GAAP knowledge, with excellent organizational and collaboration

Qualifications

• Public accounting and/or SEC reporting experience required.
• CPA license required.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and GAAP proficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own portions of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including complex disclosures.
• Coordinate quarterly reporting timelines across teams.
• Prepare journal entries for technical accounting matters and impairments.
• Maintain SOX 404 controls documentation with audit teams.
• Support external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audit.
• Lead ad hoc analyses and technical accounting memos as needed.
• Collaborate with legal, tax, asset management, and finance on reporting.
