Job summary

Certara USA, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting to split time between quarterly and annual SEC filings and the ongoing rhythm of internal management reporting, including KPI packages and board materials.

You will collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, SEC reporting, and BU finance leaders to tell Certara's financial story both internally and externally, ensuring accuracy and clarity across disclosures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience, with SEC exposure preferred.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with ERP and consolidation tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for periodic SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) and related footnotes.
• Coordinate quarterly and annual close and reporting with Accounting, FP&A, Legal, and external auditors.
• Monitor SEC and FASB guidance and implement new disclosure requirements.
• Support external audit process and respond to auditor requests.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly management reporting packages and KPI reporting.
• Translate financial results into clear narratives for leadership.
• Maintain internal controls relevant to financial close (SOX).
• Support acquisition integration reporting and new accounting standard implementation.
