Job summary

Cars Commerce is seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting to own the preparation and filing of the Company’s SEC reports and deliver financial reporting to senior management. The role partners across the organization to ensure accurate, timely disclosures and requires a strong technical accounting background with ownership mindset.

The ideal candidate will manage the monthly close, lead disclosure activities, and oversee audit processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA required.
• 6+ years of financial reporting or public accounting experience.
• Big 4 public accounting experience with industry experience at a public company preferred.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting rules and regulations.
• SOX compliance understanding.
• Experience with SEC reporting tools like ActiveDisclosure or Workiva.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file the Company's Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and other SEC filings.
• Prepare and review monthly financial reporting package for management.
• Lead quarterly disclosure committee meetings.
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors to streamline reviews and audits.
• Support monthly close with journal entries.
