Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC seeks a Finance Project Manager in Washington, DC to support ERP implementations and finance workstreams. You will document current-state processes, develop future-state workflows, and assist with external audit activities, ensuring documentation is audit-ready.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting/finance, ERP experience, and strong understanding of controls, financial reporting, and audit requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, financial systems implementation, or project management.
• Prior experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, or finance transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, controls, financial reporting, and audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support finance and accounting workstreams during ERP implementations, including requirements gathering, UAT, issue resolution, and project coordination.
• Partner with leadership to document current-state processes and develop improved future-state workflows.
• Assist with external audit activities, including preparing schedules, responding to auditor requests, and ensuring documentation is audit-ready.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen processes in a largely manual accounting environment.
• Support accounting operations related to investment activity and financial reporting.
• Review and reconcile financial activity, ensuring proper controls, accuracy, and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, accounting, operations and technology to manage timelines, risks, and deliverables.
• Maintain organized project documentation, process maps, testing results, and status reports.
• Provide regular updates to leadership regarding project progress, open issues, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Assist with reporting, analytics, and planning tools used by the finance team.

• Partner with finance and accounting leadership to document current-state processes and develop improved future-state workflows.
• Assist with external audit activities, including preparing schedules, responding to auditor requests, and ensuring documentation is complete and audit-ready.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen processes within a largely manual accounting environment.
