Job summary

PlanMember Financial Corporation seeks a Financial Services Operations Associate – Purchasing Processor at our Carpinteria, CA headquarters. The role supports the Purchase Team with transaction processing, documentation, and client service within a regulatory framework.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in financial services or an operations role, a high school diploma minimum, and a preference for candidates with FINRA SIE and 99 licenses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Two plus years in a financial services or operations role.
• FINRA LICENSE - SIE
• FINRA LICENSE - 99
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field desired.

Responsibilities

• Execute, review, and reconcile financial operations transactions.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile daily processing.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in account balances.
• Stay up to date with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Assist in preparation of documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
• Interact with internal clients and provide support for account-related inquiries.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify and report potential risks in financial transactions and operations.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and client interactions.
• Update Standard Operating Procedures for manager review.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field
