Job summary

Trilogy’s Central Finance team needs a Senior Finance Controller who will lead day-to-day operations through a team of Senior Accountants, while staying hands-on for critical deadlines. You’ll inspect invoices, payments, reconciliations, and allocations, diagnose root causes, and coach the team with evidence-based improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred.
• Experience on at least five audits with a Big 4 firm.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day finance operations through Senior Accountants, prioritising deadlines and risk.
• Inspect dashboards, ensure accuracy of bills, invoices, payments and reconciliations.
• Diagnose quality failures and identify root cause in data, systems or processes.
• Write coaching that explains issues and prevents recurrence.
• Identify opportunities to use AI/LLMs and automation to increase speed and accuracy of finance work.
• Build a high-performing finance ops team and allocate work across the group.
