Job summary
Dow Jones is seeking a Principal - Finance Operations to transform Technology Finance Operations into an AI-enabled, systems-oriented operating model. You will own the business and financial cadence for Technology Operations, redesign future budget processes, and collaborate with senior leadership to optimize capital and operating investments.
You will drive governance, dashboards, and KPIs across a $300M+ portfolio, partnering with Finance, Sourcing, HR, PMO, and Technology leaders to deliver
Qualifications
- 12+ years' experience in business operations and FP&A.
- Experience redesigning operating models and governance.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the Technology Operations business management function, establishing the operating rhythm for planning, forecasting, decision support, governance, and execution.
- Lead the redesign of the FY28 budget process.
- Oversee the operating cadence for the $300M+ Product & Technology budget.
- Reengineer recurring financial and operational workflows by replacing manual processes with automation, intelligent workflows, and durable management systems.
- Partner with Finance, Sourcing, Human Resources, PMO, and Technology Executive and other stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into annual and multi-year operating plans.
- Improve governance and planning across triads by strengthening decision-making, planning discipline, accountability, and operating transparency in partnership with PMO leadership.
