Job summary

Machinify is a leading healthcare intelligence company delivering value across the payment continuum. The Finance Operations Analyst role is a full-time, hybrid position with three days in the LaGrange office and involves preparing client reporting packages, processing fee payments, and reconciling client trust accounts.

You will work with AI-enabled tools to automate workflows, test system changes, and support clients with ad hoc reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 2–3 years in accounting/financial analysis with reporting/reconciliation experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Curiosity about technology and AI and willingness to adopt new tools.
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical instincts.
• Self-management and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication and collaborative work style.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare semi-monthly, monthly, or quarterly client reporting packages with accuracy.
• Process client fee payments and perform required reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly client trust account reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve exception-based transactions.
• Help build finance operations workflows and AI-enabled reporting; assist in testing reports.
• Respond to client requests and ad hoc reporting needs.
• Collaborate with Finance and other departments to get work done.
