Galpin Motors Honda in Mission Hills, CA is seeking a Finance Officer to guide customers through financing options and protect products as part of a smooth, stress-free buying experience. You will review loan options, work with lenders, and complete all required paperwork accurately.

The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is expected.

Responsibilities

• Help customers choose protection packages for their vehicle by presenting all products and their benefits.
• Ensure financing for customers by building professional relationships with lenders and working with them to get the best financing available for our customers.
• Submit deals to the bank electronically using the appropriate dealer system.
• Enter transactions accurately into systems.
• Process all transaction paperwork and ensure it is accurate and meets the needs of the Office, state specific DMV and lender requirements.
• Track deal receivables and follow-up on outstanding items to ensure collection of all money and bank stipulations for contract funding.
• Interact with the sales team and sales managers to ensure transactions are completed accurately and to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Follow-up with customers as courtesy reminders for purchased products requiring customer action.

You’ll use your automotive finance experience to guide our customers through a smooth and stress free buying experience. You will be responsible for assisting customers with vehicle financing, reviewing loan and payment options, presenting available protection products, and completing all required finance and sales paperwork accurately and efficiently.

Some of What You’ll do:

• Help customers choose protection packages for their vehicle by presenting all products and their benefits.
• Ensure financing for customers; by building professional relationships with lenders and working with them to get the best financing available for our customers.
• Submit deals to the bank electronically using the appropriate dealer system.
• Enter transactions accurately into systems.
• Process all transaction paperwork and ensure it is accurate and meets the needs of the Office, state specific DMV and lender requirements.
• Track deal receivables and follow-up on outstanding items to ensure collection of all money and bank stipulations for contract funding.
• Participate in store meetings including Sales Receivables, Save-a-Deal and Store Manager meetings.
• Interact with the sales team and sales managers to ensure transactions are completed accurately and to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Follow-up with customers as courtesy reminders for purchased products requiring customer action (ex. Protective coating applied)
• Assist Sales Team with customer engagement in the sales department during peak traffic times.
• Obtain all appropriate licensing within 90 days from date of hire
