Job summary

Galpin Honda in Mission Hills, CA is seeking a Lead Porter to join our automotive team. The role focuses on coordinating porters, moving vehicles, and supporting sales and service managers throughout the day. You must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive manual and automatic transmissions.

We offer competitive pay, benefits after 30 days, and opportunities for advancement. This is an afternoon/evening shift; you will help maintain showroom and lot appearance, assist with inventory

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Experience operating a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Professional work ethic and high integrity.
• Ability to work as a team and/or independently.
• Ability to drive stick-shift.
• Strong problem solving and follow up skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sales porters
• Assist with administrative tasks pertaining to porters
• Move vehicles to different areas of the dealership throughout the entire day
• Assist Sales and Service Managers with inventory management
• Locate vehicles as they are notified over the radio by dispatch or cashiers
• Keep Galpin vehicles looking great by washing, detailing, and preparing for customers
• Park all completed vehicles in the vehicle pick up staging area
• Contribute to a welcoming environment by keeping all areas clean and tidy
