Firefly Aerospace is seeking an experienced Manager, Financial Reporting and Analysis to support SEC reporting, technical accounting, SOX compliance, and special projects in a fast-paced public company environment. The role reports to the Director of Financial Reporting and Analysis and leads cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates bring 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, CPA, and strong U.S. GAAP expertise, including ASC 606/842/718, with a track record in mentoring teams and

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including public company exposure.
• Experience with SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and related filings.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, incl. ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 718.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing SOX ICFR.
• Experience performing and reviewing technical accounting research with memoranda.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members.
• Interest in using AI tools to improve accounting efficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Lead preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports and proxies.
• Manage quarterly and annual reporting calendar; coordinate inputs.
• Oversee XBRL tagging and external auditor coordination.
• Provide technical accounting memoranda on topics like ASC 606, 842, 718.
• Coordinate with auditors on technical accounting matters.
• Lead and manage special projects and process improvements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cross-functional collaboration.
• Mentor and develop team members; foster accountability.
