Firefly Aerospace, Inc. in Cedar Park, Texas, is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead the general ledger close, prepare U.S. GAAP financial statements, and support internal controls in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The role requires a CPA-leaning skill set, experience in a publicly traded or manufacturing setting, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and timely disclosures.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience in a publicly traded company or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• General Ledger Close: lead month/quarter/year-end close and reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting: prepare timely U.S. GAAP financial statements and disclosures.
• Internal Controls: ensure SOX control compliance and documentation.
• Technical Accounting: research and document accounting issues and company policy applications.
• Audit Support: provide schedules and support for internal and external audits.
• Ad-hoc Analysis & Projects: perform special analyses as needed.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with FP&A, Operations, Legal to support business needs.
