Job summary

Construct Center for Affordable Housing is seeking a Finance Manager to join a small team and develop new financial processes and reports. The role combines project leadership with day-to-day bookkeeping, including income/expenses, reconciliations, audits, and year-end reporting.

The successful candidate will support the mission while handling essential administrative finance duties and interact with staff and board members.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in related field.
Strong familiarity with QuickBooks.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

Process organizational 401K contributions through Mass Core.
Record purchases, expenses, invoices, and payments.
Ensure timely processing of payroll - Categorize expenses and revenues.
Input transactions into correct ledgers - Reconcile accounts and bank statements to the company's financial records.
Identify discrepancies and missing transactions - Ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
Prepare cash flow statements, reconciliation statements, and profit and loss statements - Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable - Pay vendors as bills come due - Work with Treasurer and senior staff on budget preparation, annual audit and financial reviews.
