Job summary

The Salvation Army Indiana Division is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the Center’s budgeting, financial controls, and reporting. You will oversee revenue, grants, and contracts while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and funding requirements.

Ideally, you hold a Bachelor’s in business, finance, or accounting with leadership experience; a Master’s is preferred. Notary certification and driver’s license are required within stated timeframes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or Accounting required; master’s degree preferred.
• Two years of leadership experience; higher education may reduce required experience.
• Two years of professional business experience required if only a bachelor’s degree; two years if Master’s degree.
• Notary certification within 90 days; valid driver’s license; Safe From Harm training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual budget with a positive net result.
• Maintain accuracy in financial information across agencies with different timelines.
• Approve accounts payable timely and in line with Salvation Army policies.
• Prepare budgets for proposals and projects; manage FEMA and grant funds.
• Ensure month-end close and budget deadlines; identify revenue/expense gaps.
• Coordinate monthly reporting, budgeting, and related processes.
• Oversee processes from application to execution in compliance with procedures.
